Parental Communications
There are several types of communication we send out as a school to support the learning, progress and wellbeing of your child. These support our parents / carers with vital information about their child and activities both in school and outside school:
Email communications with key information which we may need to communicate at short notice.
Letters for key events and opportunities. For example parent consultation meetings, vaccinations, curriculum / open events or visits.
Reports on your child's progress. These are also available on your child's Arbor profile.
EdulinkOne - Parents can view a range of information about their child e.g. attendance, behaviour and rewards.
Our bi-monthly Parental Bulletin which gives a summary of what has been happening within King James Academy, key information which parents may need to be aware of, upcoming dates and news from across the two sites.
You can view copies of the letters sent home under general (all) or by year group - see here.
Arbor App
Don't forget that your child's attendance, behaviour (including rewards), copy of reports and their Summer examinations information can be found when you log in and view their profile.

Parental Voice
Over the last few years we have very much relied on parental voice from Friends of King James, Parent governors and the voices which have reached us from our efforts to meet with parents regularly e.g. the parental forum from last year and this year one to one SLT catch ups. Below is a summary of the actions we have taken as a result of your feedback.
