At King James we want to provide the best possible learning and experiences for every young person for whom we have a duty of care.

Ethos:

At King James we believe that education is about transforming the lives of young people so that they become successful students, helping to deepen their understanding of our 4 character values and developing their aspirations. 

Our 4 Character Values are:

At King James we have carefully planned and sequenced our curriculum and wider school experiences to ensure that our young people will develop their head, hearts and hands.  Our holistic approach is as follows:

• Head: an academic education developing in-depth knowledge of, for example, culture, design, history, maths and science.

• Heart: a character education building resilience, kindness, tolerance and openness.

• Hand: a 'can do' education that nurtures creativity and problem solving.
