In-Year Admissions

From 22 June 2026, in-year admissions for King James Academy will be managed directly by The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust (DLPT).

As the Admission Authority for all schools within the Trust, DLPT is responsible for setting and applying the admissions policy. All decisions relating to admissions are made by the Trust Board.

Mid-Year Applications

In-year applications are those made outside the normal admissions round (for example, applications for places after the start of the academic year or for entry into any year group other than the usual September intake for Yr 5/7).

To apply for an in-year place, please complete the In-Year Admission Form and return it to admissions@diamondlearningtrust.com.

We aim to process applications and notify parents/carers of the outcome within 10 school days of receiving a completed application.
