This September, we opened our doors as King James Academy through school for students from year 5 to year 11. We are actively seeking to appoint an excellent Key Stage 2 teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be absolutely committed to raising the attainment of students of all abilities across the age range.

Candidates should be:

  • Enthusiastic and innovative, with a passion for all areas of Key Stage 2
  • Able to teach to the highest standard at Key Stage 2
  • An inspiring teacher who can enthuse others
  • Able to use their excellent subject knowledge to raise standards both within their own classroom and contribute to departmental planning.
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is an essential attribute.

  • Able to teach to the highest standard at both KS3 and GCSE (currently Edexcel specification)
  • An inspiring teacher who can enthuse others
  • Able to use their excellent subject knowledge to raise standards both within their own classroom and contribute to departmental planning.
  • Knowledge of the KS2 Maths curriculum is a desirable, but not essential, attribute.

We are actively seeking to appoint an excellent teacher of Science to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be absolutely committed to raising the attainment of students of all abilities across the age range.

We are now actively seeking an ambitious and talented teacher to join us in our mission to create an outstanding through school in Royston (Key stages 2 – 4).

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher of science who would be willing to teach across both sites to deliver Key stages 2 – 4, but predominantly has experience of teaching KS4 students. You will have the passion and expertise necessary to inspire students and be absolutely committed to raising the attainment of all students of all abilities across the age range. We are open to applications from any specialism within Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
