Year 7 Catch Up Premium
Year 7 Catch Up Premium is provided by the Government to support Year 7 pupils who did not reach the expected standard in the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum tests in reading and/or mathematics.
The purpose of this funding is to enable schools to provide the students concerned with additional support in literacy and numeracy. The aim is to ensure they make rapid progress and are able to access the curriculum, reaching their full potential at school.
In 2018 - 2019, the school received £14, 692 for this purpose. Funding was spent on enhancing and supporting the learning for specifically identified pupils.

In the academic year 2018-2019, the school received £178,255 for this purpose. Funding was spent on addressing identified barriers in a tiered approach focussing upon teaching, targeted academic support and wider strategies.
